| Abstract | A new Middle Triassic (Ladinian) planthopper of the family Surijokocixiidae (Surijokocixioidea, Fulgoromorpha) from the Tongchuan Formation in Shaanxi, NW China is established as Sinosurijikocixius tongchuanensis gen. et sp. nov. All the known taxa assigned to Surijokocixiidae are reviewed and compared. The palaeogeographic distributional pattern of Surijokocixiidae from the middle Permian to Late Triassic is summarized. |
