Alcheringa XX, xxx-xxx. ISSN 0311-5518. One new genus and seven species of Anaxyelidae are described from the Middle Jurassic of Daohugou, Inner Mongolia, China, including Daosyntexis primus gen. et sp. nov. (Syntexinae), Brachysyntexis sinensis sp. nov., B. rohweri sp. nov., B. laticella sp. nov., B. brevicornis sp. nov., B. acuta sp. nov. and B. minuta sp. nov. (Anaxyelinae). They are the most ancient representatives of the relict family Anaxyelidae. The anaxyelid complex at Daohugou is more diverse than at Karatau, Kazakhstan, and includes not only Anaxyelinae, but also Syntexinae and probably Kempendajinae. Syntexinae and Kempendajinae are recorded in Jurassic strata for the first time.
